Led by Sunshine Fister as Chief Business Officer and Nate Smith as Chief Operating Officer, Axiom combines deep local expertise with an innovative approach to property and financial management. Our History
For nearly three decades, Perry Unruh has been one of the cornerstones of the Summit County property management community. Perry dedicated over decades of experience to managing one of Dillon’s largest and most recognized properties in the County. His commitment to exceptional service, integrity, and building thriving communities laid the foundation for Axiom Management.
Today, Perry and Luke Unruh, a Summit County native and longtime advocate for strong communities, continue their involvement as members of Axiom’s Board of Advisors. They provide invaluable guidance on policy development and business strategy, ensuring that Axiom remains true to its founding values while continuing to grow and innovate.

As Axiom Management’s Chief Operating Officer, Nate Smith brings over two decades of leadership experience and a deep commitment to serving Summit County communities.
Nate’s passion lies in delivering exceptional service while elevating the quality of property management in the region.
Nate has dedicated his career to ensuring that every client feels valued and that their investments are handled with the care they deserve. He takes pride in helping communities and property owners thrive, knowing that Axiom’s service and commitment stand above the rest.
Jenae is an expert in operational administration and grew up in a family of entrepreneurs, bringing a strong foundation of business acumen and efficiency to her work.
Nate and Jenae's strong work ethic and attention to detail are driven by their love for Summit County and their three daughters, who inspire them every day.

Born and raised in Summit County, Luke brings an insider’s understanding of the local rental market. His deep roots in the community and strong relationships with homeowners make him the go-to resource for what works in Copper and beyond.

Nicki Shaw is a proud Colorado native whose heart belongs to the Rocky Mountains. When not exploring the state's rugged beauty, she cherishes time spent with her husband and three beloved dogs. An adventurous spirit, Nicki and her husband once spent a year traveling the west coast in their RV. In her downtime, she can be found socializing or curled up next to a fire with a captivating book.
